About the Client
Our client is a B2C SaaS company founded in 2022, right as COVID restrictions started easing and people began moving back toward in-person life, carrying new expectations shaped by two years of doing everything remotely. The product caught that wave. Over the next few years, the team built a loyal base of repeat customers through outbound: cold calls, sales conversations, partnerships built directly.
That growth got them to a Series A in 2025. With fresh funding and pressure to grow faster, they brought us in around the raise to build organic into a real acquisition channel. Outbound got them here, but it means a team manually reaching out to every new customer. That doesn’t scale the way search does.
Their website showed it. A homepage, product pages, pricing, the basics a company needs to run, and not much else. No one had built for organic before because no one had needed to.
What We Found
Most sites we take on need technical work before anything else can happen. This one didn’t. Crawlability, indexing, and site structure were already in good shape, so we skipped past cleanup and went straight to building.
That made the real problem easier to see. The site had almost nothing beyond its core pages. No content library. No authority in its space. No external signals telling Google it was a source worth trusting. A technically sound site with nothing built on top of it still won’t rank.
No Content Library
Beyond the core pages, there was nothing. No blog. No resource section. No supporting content mapped to how buyers actually search or research before they commit to a product like this.
No Topical Authority
With no content built around their space, Google had no signal that this site was a reliable source of information on the topic. There was nothing to establish the site as an authority beyond its own product pages.
No Backlink Profile
The site had close to no external links pointing to it. Without outside signals of trust, even well-built content would struggle to rank against competitors who’d been publishing and earning links for longer.
Our Approach
The team had spent three years proving the product worked through outbound. Now they needed a system that could capture the demand at scale. That meant building content that spoke to buyers at every stage of the funnel, and backing it with the kind of authority Google needs to trust a site it had barely indexed before.
We worked through it in order: fixed what the site already had, mapped out who we were building for, wrote content bottom-of-funnel first and moved up from there, then brought in the outside signals that make it all rank.
01
Optimized Core Pages
We started with the pages that already existed, since they were carrying most of the site’s authority.
Product, pricing, and homepage content had been written to explain the product to someone talking with a salesperson, but we also need the copy for these pages to earn a click. We rebuilt that content to target the terms buyers actually search, while keeping the direct, benefit-first voice the outbound team had already proven worked.
Getting this right first meant every later page had a strong foundation to link back to.
Keyword Mapping and Clustering
The core pages were in place. From there, we mapped the terrain the rest of the content would live in.
We built keyword clusters around the client’s actual use cases, then layered in the buyer personas considering the product. A solo user and a team lead search differently, even when they’re looking at the same feature. This gave every piece of content that came after it a defined place in the structure and a specific searcher in mind.

03
MOFU and BOFU Content Assets
We first built content for the buyers closest to a decision.
Case studies, guides, alternative pages, comparison pages, and whitepapers were made for people actively comparing solutions. This is also where outbound’s years of customer conversations paid off. We already knew what buyers pushed back on and what came up in comparisons before a deal closed, and built content that answered it before a prospect had to ask.
Building the Topical Map
Only once the middle and bottom of the funnel were built did we turn to the top.
We built a content library backed by original data and statistics pulled from the client’s own product usage and customer base. Original research earned the site genuine E-E-A-T signals, since it’s exactly the kind of thing other sites want to cite and link to. It also gave the client’s brand a reason to show up in searches from people who weren’t yet looking to buy anything.

05
Digital PR and Strategic Guest Posting
Content worth citing was now in place, so we built the site’s authority from the outside in. Digital PR placements and guest posts on relevant, high-quality sites earned the external signals Google needed to trust a domain it had barely indexed a few months earlier. Because the outreach was built on real data assets, it earned coverage faster and from more authoritative sites than a typical link-building campaign.
The Results
+300%
increase in organic traffic
Growth didn’t come from one lucky post or a viral placement. It came from a structure built to compound. Top-of-funnel data pieces bring in new searchers. Comparison and case study content meets them mid-decision. Optimized core pages convert them once they arrive.
The client used to run outbound only. Now organic runs alongside it as a real, ongoing source of demand. Traffic keeps climbing as the content library and backlink profile mature. The earlier data-driven pieces are earning links on their own now, with no extra outreach.
